SPENCERVILLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS                Wednesday, May 1, 2024

 

Any student who plans to take a CCP class here next year from Franklin University will need to report to Mrs. Klosterman's room 8th period next Monday, May 6th to get registered.  This includes anyone taking speech or Advanced English IV.  

 

Any student who plans to take a CCP class here next year from the University of Findlay will need to report to Miss Brenneman's room 1st period next Tuesday, May 7th to get registered.  This includes anyone taking American History. 

 

Any student who plans to take a CCP class here next year from Rhodes State College will need to report to Mr. Sadler's room 3rd period next Tuesday, May 7th to get registered.  Any student who has taken a class from Rhodes in the past does not need to register again as you are already a student there.  

 

"Happy Constitution Day" to our Marshallese Students.

 

Students with a school issued electronic device/equipment are asked to please return them by Monday, May 10th

 

Free 2024/25 sport physicals for current 6th- 11th grade students will be held on Tuesday, May 21st in the school athletic hallway.  Current 6th- 8th Grade Students: 3:00-3:30pm, Last name A-L; 3:30-4:00pm, Last name M- Z.   Current 9th-11th Grade Students: 4:00-4:30 pm, Last name A-L; 4:30-5:00pm, Last name M- Z.  Parents may view the required the information in the email sent through FinalForms.  All forms will need to be completed no later than Tuesday, May 14th by 8:00am in order to participate in the free physicals.

 

All library books are due back to The Media Center by Monday, May 6th.  The Media Center will be closing to Study Hall students beginning Friday, May 10th.  If a student needs to take a test or has a special assignment, arrangements to come to the library can be made.

 

Any student who was supposed to test in Ms. Davis's room for the biology state test, your room assignment has now been changed.  Please check the testing lists at both ends of the high school hallway.  If your name is highlighted, you will now test with the teacher whose name is also highlighted in the same color.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Baumgartner.

 

 

Any High School student planning on participating in Make a Difference Day permission slips are due this Friday, May 2nd.

Please turn in your permission slips to your advisors. 

 

 

There will be a meeting this Thursday, May 1st during lunch in room 503 for any High School girl in grades 9-11 wanting to play basketball next year.

 

 

There will be a meeting on this Thursday, May 1st at 11:30 in the athletic hallway for any girl in grades 6-8 wanting to play basketball next year.

 

 

HS students not testing will be on a 2-hour delay Wednesday and Thursday this week. 

 

 

There is a sign-up sheet in the office for current 8th grade- 11th grade students interested in Golf next year.

Mercy Health is offering an Emergency Training Day for High School Students on May 30, 2024 from 9am-12pm at the GME Building across from St. Rita’s Medical Center.  There is no registration fee for this event. Students will learn the basics of CPR and utilize hands on stop The Bleed Training.  Register at kbarnett3@mercy.com
